Black Forge Technology is a veteran-owned construction technology firm based in Dallas/Fort Worth. We were founded on a simple idea: the contractors who build the world deserve technology that actually works on a jobsite — not generic software rolled out by people who've never read a set of drawings.
Our team brings a combined 20+ years across construction leadership, BIM/VDC, and software development. Everything we make starts on real projects — BIM/VDC coordination, 3D laser scanning, and BIM-IQ, our tool that lets estimators pull budget numbers straight from the model instead of waiting days on a takeoff.
Built by contractors, for contractors
Black Forge isn't a software shop guessing at how construction works. We were founded by the owner of an active roofing and general contracting firm — so our BIM/VDC workflows, scanning, and estimating tools come straight from the realities of bidding, coordinating, and delivering real jobs. Our leadership also runs a construction-focused software and CRM practice, which is why our tools connect the office and the field instead of adding busywork.
